Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, with excellent food and service. Additionally, the presentation was excellent. We had a box in the morning since we left early, which was also very good.
The Lynden Grove
A small team of employees runs the 12-room hotel quietly and efficiently. Outstanding housekeeping. The food was excellent, with options for breakfast, including two from the East, and several options for dinner. Lunch was rice and curry from Sri Lanka, which was delicious.
In Nuwara Eliya, having hot water and clean bathrooms is crucial. Everything is offered. The manager made a special effort to see to the visitors’ needs. I needed a three-wheeler for a separate tour, and the guy recommended offered excellent service at an excellent price.

Even though there weren’t many options on the menu when we had our meals included, there were still some good options for dinner and breakfast. I suggest this hotel to other tourists.

The owners’ warm hospitality and their belief that their guests are gods. So they reflected in the welcoming attitudes of the staff. Toiletries with the “Spa Ceylon” brand are also used at Hotel Glendower.

The Oliphant Boutique Villa is a classy, refined, and cozy setting, and we were graciously welcomed there. The interior design is lovely, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent. We could find Beautiful flower arrangements and a cozy log fire in the restaurant and the lobby, respectively (it was very windy that day, it can be pretty cold in this city at an altitude of around 2000 m). We want to thank the team for our enjoyable time in this old house. To get downtown, you must take a tuk-tuk, but you can stroll through the lovely tea plantations surrounding the hotel and enjoy the views from the hills.
