The train station is very old-fashioned.

Ella’s charming little vintage train station caught me off guard when I purchased my train ticket for the following day.

It had a colonial feel and was surrounded by white picket fences.

It’s worth a look, even if you’re not taking the train from Ella. As I observed, it was also popular through route for hikers on the tracks.

Diyaluma Falls, one of Sri Lanka’s most stunning waterfalls, is less well-known than Ravana Falls because it is a little removed from the main road and has only a few small cafes nearby.

If you want to get there, continue on the main road that leads to Ravana Falls for a little bit more, and you will eventually be able to see these magnificent falls from the side of the main road. One of the best things to do in Ella is to take beautiful pictures of the town with the falls in the foreground, which is a combination you won’t find anywhere else in Sri Lanka.

If you can get there early enough, it regards one of Sri Lanka’s most magnificent views. Lipton’s Seat is in Haputale, 30 kilometers south of Ella. Ella is a relaxed tourist destination.

I adore tourist destinations. Perhaps it’s meeting other travelers in my situation and seeing the backpackers, or maybe it’s just that it gives the area a somewhat hippie vibe. In either case, it feels like home to me.

You will immediately notice a reduction in traffic and speed, enjoy the nighttime silence, and feel at ease moving around. This tiny island made of coconuts was like an oasis. I’d suggest staying at least a few days in and around Ella, Sri Lanka, to get the most out of it.

You can find Outstanding panoramic views all around you.

I took aback when I first saw the view from the bus window as we wound our way up the mountain. Fantastic mountain views abound! They were incredibly dramatic, high, and green.

Make sure to set aside time to watch the gorgeous sunsets and sunrises here.

And its all about our journey. I think Sri Lanka is paradise where everyone must visit!
